Your first consultation is designed to be a comprehensive and supportive space where we explore your health in depth.
Prior to your session, you may be asked to complete an intake form covering your health history, current concerns, and goals. This allows us to use our time together more intentionally and ensures your care is truly personalised.
During the consultation, we’ll take a holistic approach - exploring areas such as your nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and any relevant symptoms or patterns. This is a collaborative process, where you are encouraged to share openly and feel fully supported without judgement.
Following our discussion, you’ll receive tailored recommendations aligned with your needs and goals. This may include nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and where appropriate, further testing or supplementation.
The intention is for you to leave with clarity, direction, and a deeper understanding of your body.

Functional testing is a deeper, more personalised way of understanding your health.
Rather than simply identifying disease, it looks at how your body is functioning beneath the surface - often uncovering subtle imbalances long before symptoms fully develop.
This may include areas such as hormones, gut health, nutrient status, and metabolic function. By exploring these foundational systems, functional testing allows us to create a more targeted and individualised approach to your care.
At its core, it’s about moving beyond “normal” and working towards optimal health.
-
Yes - functional testing is offered through NutriPath or your GP where clinically appropriate, and is always tailored to your individual needs.
Not every client requires testing, and where possible, we prioritise a food-first, lifestyle-focused approach. However, when deeper insight is needed, functional testing can be a valuable tool to guide more precise and effective recommendations.
All testing is discussed transparently, including the purpose, process, and associated costs, so you feel informed and supported every step of the way.

Where appropriate, supplements may be recommended as part of your personalised nutrition plan. These recommendations are based on your individual needs and goals.
-
Rather than providing rigid, one-size-fits-all meal plans, the approach is centred around flexibility, education, and sustainability.
You will receive personalised guidance tailored to your needs, preferences, and lifestyle - this may include example meal ideas, frameworks, and practical strategies to support you in making aligned choices with ease.
For some clients, a more structured plan may be appropriate, particularly at the beginning of their journey or when additional support is needed. However, the intention is never to create dependency, but to help you build confidence and autonomy in how you nourish your body.
This approach allows for structure where needed, while still honouring balance, enjoyment, and individuality.
-
Absolutely not. This is a space grounded in understanding, not judgement.
Your current habits, lifestyle, and experiences are approached with compassion and curiosity, as they each form part of your unique story. The intention is never to criticise, but to support you in creating sustainable, aligned changes at a pace that feels right for you.
You are met exactly where you are, and guided forward with care, respect, and evidence-based support.
